Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Keystone advises that you should check that the receiver for the step bracket is properly secured until the recall repairs have been completed. Keystone will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to replace the receiver for the removable step.

As a result, the sidewall metal panel(s) could become loose and detach from the trailer while being towed. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Keystone advises that if any sidewall metal is loose, to re-secure it before towing. Keystone will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to add additional support to any loose sidewall metal panel(s).

Corrective Actions: Keystone will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealership to inspect the fabric roll on the awning. It will be repaired or replaced, as necessary.

  Issue: On certain RV trailers, the wiring for the solar controller may not have been installed correctly. Under certain conditions, this could cause the 12 V DC electrical system not to work properly (including the carbon monoxide and propane gas detector). If this happens, you would not be alerted if there was a buildup of propane gas and/or carbon monoxide inside the trailer. Note: This recall affects trailers with a SolarFlex 200 or 400i system. Safety Risk: A buildup of propane gas inside the trailer could create the risk of an explosion or fire. A buildup of carbon monoxide could result in carbon monoxide poisoning. Corrective Actions: Keystone will notify owners by mail and give you directions for how to use the VictronConnect app to check the battery voltage. This can help you ensure that the wiring for the solar controller is connected correctly. If it is not, they will ask you to bring your trailer to a dealer to correct the wiring. If the VictronConnect app shows that the battery voltage is over 14.4 V, you should disconnect the battery from the solar power and take the trailer to a dealer for service.

Corrective Action: Keystone will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your travel trailer to a dealer to replace the propane (LP) regulator.

  Issue: Certain travel trailers were built with the wrong tires and axles with the wrong load rating. The trailer was built with axles rated for 1995 kg (4400 lb.) and ST225/75R15D (65 psi) tires. The trailer should have axles rated for 2358 kg (5200 lb.) and ST225/75R15E (80 psi) tires. As a result, the axles and tires could be overloaded. This could result in an axle or tire failure. Safety Risk: An axle or tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Keystone will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to replace the axles with parts rated for 2358 kg (5200 lb.).

Corrective Actions: Keystone RV will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your travel trailer to a dealer to replace the defective U-bolts. Keystone RV advises that you should remove the spare tire until the recall repairs have been completed.

  On certain travel trailers, the axles may not have enough grease on the inner hub bearings. This could cause the bearings to overheat and fail, potentially resulting in wheel lockup or separation. This may result in a loss of control causing a crash. In addition, a loose wheel assembly could strike another vehicle, stationary object, or bystander, causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect all hub assemblies. If there is insufficient grease and the bearings are in new condition, the bearings will be repacked, and the hubs reinstalled. If the bearings show any signs of wear, the hubs and bearings will be replaced. If the axle beam shows any damage, it will also be replaced.

  Certain travel trailers may not comply with Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations. The certification label may not contain the correct Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR). The label incorrectly indicates a GAWR of 5,200 lbs (2,359 kg), while it should instead show the GAWR as 4,400 lbs (1,995 kg). This could lead to premature tire failure and vehicle overloading, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Keystone RV will send a revised certification label to current owners with instructions for proper placement. If owners are not comfortable installing the label themselves, they can take the label to a Keystone RV dealer for installation.

Correction: Updated labels will be mailed to owners of affected vehicles, along with instructions for proper installation.

  Certain fifth wheel and travel trailers originally equipped with white (spoke or modular design) steel wheels may have poor weld quality between the wheel center disk and outer rim. The wheels which have a six (6) hole bolt pattern were manufactured by Xingmin Wheel and bear the rim stamp "07 10 06 Z" or "08 10 16 B" on the back side of the rim. The poor weld could cause the outer rim portion of the wheel to fail. A wheel separating from the vehicle could cause a loss of control and a crash. In addition, the errant wheel assembly could strike a vehicle, property, or a bystander. Both problems could cause property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect the wheels for the specific rim identification markings and replace as necessary. Note: For vehicles with the aluminum wheel option, the recall only applies to the spare tire if equipped with above-mentioned wheel

  On certain fifth wheel and travel trailers, the Atwood 35-series range oven, model number beginning with RV1735, RV2135, RA1735, or RA2135, may develop a small crack within the line delivering gas to the oven cavity burner. A propane leak, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire and/or explosion, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the oven supply tube.
