On certain vehicles equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. On certain motorhomes, the 12 volt breakers located by the battery may not have been properly connect. If a short circuit occurs on an unprotected circuit, it could increase the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and remount the wiring as necessary.

Certain travel trailers may not comply with Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations. The certification label may not contain the correct Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR). The label incorrectly indicates a GAWR of 5,200 lbs (2,359 kg), while it should instead show the GAWR as 4,400 lbs (1,995 kg). This could lead to premature tire failure and vehicle overloading, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Keystone RV will send a revised certification label to current owners with instructions for proper placement. If owners are not comfortable installing the label themselves, they can take the label to a Keystone RV dealer for installation.

Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling various 2003-2018 Crossroads, Dutchmen, and Keystone recreational trailers equipped with Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers. A list of the affected trailer models is available at: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2017/RMISC-17V755-5127.pdf. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable. Risk: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
Remedy: Keystone will notify owners and instruct them to contact Kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall began on January 15, 2018. - ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING:FUSES AND CIRCUIT BREAKERS#17V549000
Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2016-2018 Springdale and Summerland recreational trailers. The wiring for the electric stabilizer jacks were incorrectly connected to the unprotected side of the breaker.
Risk: An electrical short in the wiring for the electric stabilizer jack can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Keystone will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the installation of the electrical stabilizer jack wiring, correcting it as necessary, free of charge. The recall began on September 22, 2017. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 17-299.
- EQUIPMENT:OTHER:LABELS#17V339000
Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2012-2018 Springdale recreational vehicles, model 303BH. The Federal Identification Tag on these vehicles overstate the Gross Axle Weight Rating capacity (GAWR) by 800lbs for each axle. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."
Risk: The incorrect GAWR makes the Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) label incorrect and may result in the vehicle being overloaded, affecting the vehicle control and increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Keystone will notify owners, and dealers will provide a new Federal Placard with the correct GAWR and a new CCC label, free of charge. The recall began on June 20, 2017. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 17-289.
