  Issue: On certain motorhomes, the hood mounting brackets may not have been properly attached. As a result, the bracket(s) could loosen and detach from the motorhome while driving. Safety Risk: A hood mounting bracket that detaches from the motorhome could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Winnebago will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.

  Issue: On certain motorhomes, the front turn signal lights may be too small. As a result, the turn signals could be difficult to see, and the motorhomes may not meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations. Safety Risk: Turn signals that are difficult to see could cause a person not to recognize when a driver intends to turn or change lanes. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Winnebago will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to replace the front turn signal lights.

  Issue: Certain motorhomes built on a Freightliner chassis could have a problem with the rear-mounted Power Distribution Module (PDM). This could cause the tail lights not to work properly. Note: This recall replaces FL-856 (Transport Canada recall 2020-323). Motorhomes that were repaired under that recall also require this repair. Safety Risk: Brake lights or turn signals that do not work could cause a following driver not to recognize that a vehicle ahead is braking or intends to turn. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Winnebago will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.

  Issue: On certain motorhomes, the tire valve stem extensions for the inner wheels may get damaged by contact with the outer wheels. If this happens, the inner tire could lose air pressure. This could overload the outer tire and cause it to fail. Note: This recall replaces FL-861 (Transport Canada recall 2020-428). Motorhomes that were repaired under that recall also require this repair. Safety Risk: A tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Winnebago will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) authorized service facility to remove the inner valve stem extensions.

Safety Risk: Glare from bright instrument panel lights could reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Winnebago will notify owners by mail. Corrective Actions: Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their motorhome to a DTNA authorized service facility to inspect and repair the PDM as necessary.

  Issue: The exterior storage compartment doors may open while driving. This could allow stowed items to fall out of the vehicle. Safety Risk: A storage compartment door that opens while driving could swing into another road user’s lane. Additionally, items that fall from the vehicle could create a road hazard for others. Both of these situations could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their motorhome to a dealer to replace the exterior storage compartment door latches. The dealer will also ensure that the catches/latches are properly adjusted.

  Issue: On a certain motorhome, the bolts that join the steering and tie rod arm to the steering knuckle may not have been properly tightened. This could lead to a separation of the tie rod arm and cause a loss of steering control. Safety Risk: A loss of steering control could create a risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify the owner by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a Daimler Trucks North America Authorized Service Facility to have the steering and tie rod arm bolts inspected to ensure they are torqued correctly. New fasteners will be installed as necessary.

  Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2014-2018 Sightseer, Itasca Sunova, 2016-2025 Forza, Vista, and Itasca/Winnebago Sunstar, 2015-2025 Adventurer, 2015-2024 Commercial Vehicle, 2015-2028 Itasca Suncruiser, and 2016-2017 Itasca Solei recreational vehicles. The hood bracket adhesive may have been incorrectly applied which can allow the bracket to detach.

  Risk: A detached hood bracket may become a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash.

  Remedy: Dealers will inspect and repair as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters began being mailed January 31, 2025. Owners may contact Winnebago at 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 192.

• EXTERIOR LIGHTING:TURN SIGNAL#24V733000October 1, 2024

  Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2013-2017 Tour, 2013-2018 Journey, 2014-2022 Forza, 2015-2016 Brave, 2015-2019 Grand Tour, 2015-2021 Vista, 2016-2018 Adventurer, Sightseer, 2016-2021 Commercial Vehicle, 2018-2021 Intent, Sunstar, 2018-2020 Horizon, Itasca 2013-2017 Ellipse, Meridian, 2014-2017 Solei, 2015-2016 Tribute, 2015-2018 Sunstar, 2016-2018 Suncruiser, and Sunova motorhomes. The turn signals may have a smaller than required luminous lens area. As such these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) Number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

  Risk: A small lens can make it difficult for other drivers to see the turn signal, increasing the risk of a crash.

  Remedy: Dealers will replace the turn signals, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 17, 2026. Owners may contact Winnebago Customer Care at 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 189.

• STRUCTURE:BODY:DOOR#19V512000July 3, 2019

  Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2017-2019 Forza motorhomes. The exterior storage compartment door may unexpectedly open while the vehicle is in motion.

  Risk: If the storage compartment door opens while the vehicle is in motion, other drivers may swerve to avoid hitting the compartment door, or objects falling from within, increasing the risk of a crash.

  Remedy: Winnebago will notify owners and dealers will install a new latch and the catch will be inspected and properly aligned and readjusted if necessary. Winnebago issued owners an interim notification on August 14, 2019. The recall began September 29, 2020. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885.

• EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER:LPG SYSTEMS:LINES AND FITTINGS#18V855000November 30, 2018

  Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Winnebago Forza motorhomes. The liquid propane (LP) lines may have been installed without edge protection where the LP lines pass through the closeout panel, possibly resulting in the lines being damaged and leaking fuel.

  Risk: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

  Remedy: Winnebago will notify owners, and dealers will install edge protection at the closeout panel, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin January 18, 2019. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885.
