Corrective Actions: Newmar will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a Spartan Service Center to replace the brake pressure switch.

Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Newmar advises you to inspect for any loose baggage door covers before driving. Newmar will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a Newmar authorized service center to inspect and, if necessary, secure the baggage door covers.

Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. Correction: Dealers will replace the affected power steering hose with one that has a higher temperature rating.

  On certain motorhomes equipped with a heavier weight adjustable foot pedal, the brake activation signal to the motorhome’s brake lights and to certain towed devices may not deactivate when the motorhome service brakes are released. This may cause the motorhome brake lights to potentially remain illuminated, which would result in the following road users being unaware of the driver's intentions. Additionally, if the brakes of a towed vehicle were to remained engaged, it could result in a loss of vehicle control. Both of these conditions could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Daimler Trucks North America authorized service facilities will replace the torsion spring of the pedal assembly with an improved spring.

If the latch accidently locked the door shut, there would be no means to open it from the inside which could potentially cause entrapment and/or injury to an individual. Correction: Dealers will install a new door latch that cannot be inadvertently locked and can only be activated from the exterior of the refrigerator after the door is closed.

  On certain motorhomes equipped with IFS2000 model front suspensions, the ABS valve may have been incorrectly oriented at time of installation. As a result, the shaft of the ball joint on the steering relay rod may contact the valve during full right or left turns. If enough contact is made, the valve may fracture without warning, which could result in service brake air pressure not being applied to the affected wheel. This may increase stopping distances or cause the vehicle to pull to one side which could result in a vehicle crash. Correction: An Authorized Service facility will inspect the modulator valve and if needed add a spacer behind the ABS modulator valve.
