  Issue: On a small number of motorhomes, the compliance label and cargo-carrying capacity label don't list the correct seating capacity. The labels incorrectly state that there are 4 seats. The labels should list that there are 2 seats. As a result, the number of seat belts in the vehicle doesn't match the occupant capacity. Safety Risk: Not wearing a seat belt can increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Triple E will mail a new compliance label and cargo-carrying capacity label to each owner. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada Recall No. 2023-001. Vehicles that were repaired under that recall also require this second repair. Safety Risk: A short circuit could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Triple E Canada will notify owners by mail and provide you with a protective cover for the back of the battery disconnect switch, and instructions for installing it. Alternatively, you can take your motorhome to a dealership or RV service center to have the cover installed.

Note: This recall only affects motorhomes equipped with a Marshall Excelsior 2-stage propane regulator marked with lot number K0722 or K1822. Safety Risk: A propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion. Corrective Action: Triple E will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for inspecting the lot number of the propane regulator. If the regulator on your motorhome has one of the lot numbers listed above, Triple E will advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to perform a leak test, and replace the regulator if necessary. To reduce the safety risk, Triple E recommends to turn off the propane system in the motorhome until the recall repairs have been completed.

Dometic advises that you must immediately shut off the propane supply at the tank regulator. Don't use the propane system in your RV until the cooktop recall repairs have been completed. If the serial number is within the affected range, you will be instructed to take your motorhome to a Dometic dealer or service centre to replace the cooktop.

Correction: Dealers will relocate the protective hardware to a new position to protect the propane line in its current position.

The top angle iron used as a stop for the coach battery compartment had no sealant put between the angle iron and the motorhome floor. This could result in gases from the battery entering the interior of the motorhome when there is a negative pressure, which could increase the risk of injury or possibly result in a fire. Correction: Dealers will seal the battery compartment with a caulking bead to prevent gases from entering the motorhome.
