  • Structure#2021634

    622 units affected

Issue: On certain motorhomes, a heat shield may be missing behind the refrigerator. As a result, when the refrigerator is on, the wood frame behind it could overheat and be charred by exhaust. Safety Risk: A wood frame that overheats could catch fire. Corrective Actions: Triple E will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for ordering a fridge recall kit, free of charge. You will be instructed to take your motorhome to a dealer or RV service center to have the heat shield installed. To reduce the safety risk, Triple E recommends that you should turn off the propane until the recall repairs have been completed.

  • Accessories#2016458

    3 units affected

On certain motorhomes, the shower head could be lowered into the shower pan or sink basin, which could cause it to siphon waste water in the event of a waste water back-up. This could result in the contamination of the fresh water system which could compromise the health of the vehicle occupants if consumed. Correction: Dealers will install guide rings on the shower hose to prevent it from being lowered in the shower pan or sink basin.

  • Accessories#2016388

    1 units affected

On certain motorhomes, the propane line which connects to the Truma water heater beneath the galley could be vulnerable to damage. If cargo were to shift in the lower galley storage compartment, it could come into contact and damage the propane line, which could result in propane gas leak. Propane gas in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire and/or an explosion causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will relocate the protective hardware to a new position to protect the propane line in its current position.

  • Electrical#2015412

    73 units affected

On certain motorhomes, the battery compartment was not properly sealed to the interior of the motorhome. The top angle iron used as a stop for the coach battery compartment had no sealant put between the angle iron and the motorhome floor. This could result in gases from the battery entering the interior of the motorhome when there is a negative pressure, which could increase the risk of injury or possibly result in a fire. Correction: Dealers will seal the battery compartment with a caulking bead to prevent gases from entering the motorhome.
