    Issue: On certain motorhomes, the connections on the battery disconnect switch (located near the entry door) could contact the refrigerator frame. If this happens, there could be a short circuit. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada Recall No. 2023-001. Vehicles that were repaired under that recall also require this second repair. Safety Risk: A short circuit could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Triple E Canada will notify owners by mail and provide you with a protective cover for the back of the battery disconnect switch, and instructions for installing it. Alternatively, you can take your motorhome to a dealership or RV service center to have the cover installed.

    This recall was replaced by Transport Canada Recall No. 2023-469. Issue: On certain motorhomes, the connections on the battery disconnect switch (located near the entry door) could contact the refrigerator frame. If this happens, there could be a short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Triple E Canada will notify owners by mail and provide you with a protective rubber cover for the terminal posts on the battery disconnect switch, and instructions for installing it. Alternatively, you can take your motorhome to a dealership or RV service center to have the cover installed.

    Issue: On certain motorhomes, the burner control valve for the interior cooktop could become damaged. If this happens, the valve could leak propane. Safety Risk: A propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion. Corrective Actions: Triple E will notify owners by mail and instruct you to contact Dometic, the manufacturer of the cooktop. Dometic advises that you must immediately shut off the propane supply at the tank regulator. Don't use the propane system in your RV until the cooktop recall repairs have been completed. Dometic will provide you with information for how to inspect the serial number on your cooktop. If the serial number is within the affected range, you will be instructed to take your motorhome to a Dometic dealer or service centre to replace the cooktop.

    Issue: On certain motorhomes, the wire for the light on the entry door assist handle is too close to the refrigerator's exhaust flue. As a result, the wire could touch the hot exhaust flue and melt. Safety Risk: A melted wire can create the risk of fire. Corrective Actions: Leisure Travel Vans will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to reposition the wire for the light on the entry door assist handle and install protective tape over it.

    Issue: On certain motorhomes, the heat shield installed behind the refrigerator may be mounted too low. As a result, when the refrigerator is on, the wood frame behind it could overheat and be charred by exhaust. Safety Risk: A wood frame that overheats could catch fire. Corrective Actions: Triple E will notify owners by mail and provide you with a heat shield and instructions for installing it. Alternatively, you can take your motorhome to a dealer or RV service center to have the heat shield installed. To reduce the safety risk, Triple E recommends that you should turn off the propane until the recall repairs have been completed.

    Issue: On certain motorhomes, the generator wiring harness could be damaged by contact with the generator fan. If this happens, the wire could short circuit and the remote shutoff switch for the generator inside the motorhome may not work. Note: If the remote shutoff switch does not work, you can turn off the generator by using the switch that is located on the generator. Safety Risk: A short circuit could create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: Triple E will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to secure the wiring harness away from the generator fan.

    Issue: On certain motorhomes, the wiring harness for the rear lights may rub on the fresh water tank bracket. This could damage the wiring harness and cause the tail lights not to work. Safety Risk: Brake lights or turn signals that do not work properly could make the vehicle less visible. They could also cause a following driver not to recognize that a vehicle ahead is braking or intends to turn. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Triple E will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to install a repair kit that will prevent the wiring harness from rubbing on the fresh water tank bracket.
