    Issue: On certain RV trailers, the receiver for the removable step on the side of the trailer may not have been attached properly. As a result, the receiver could detach from the bracket and cause a person to fall. Safety risk: A step that detaches could create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Keystone advises that you should check that the receiver for the step bracket is properly secured until the recall repairs have been completed. Keystone will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to replace the receiver for the removable step.

    Issue: On certain RV trailers, the axle could become damaged by contact with the frame. If this happens, there could be a loss of control. Safety Risk: A loss of control could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Keystone will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to replace the axle equalizers. To reduce the safety risk, Keystone recommends that you should limit the towing of your trailer until the recall repairs are completed.

    Issue: On certain RV trailers, the fabric for the patio awning may not be properly attached. As a result, the awning could detach and fall from the trailer. Safety Risk: An awning that falls from the trailer could create a risk of injury. An awning that falls from a moving vehicle could create road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Keystone will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealership to inspect the fabric roll on the awning. It will be repaired or replaced, as necessary.

    Issue: On certain RV trailers, the propane (LP) regulator could fail. If this happens, high-pressure propane could reach the appliances. Note: This recall only affects trailers equipped with a Winntec model 6020 propane regulator. Safety Risk: Unregulated propane pressure can create the risk of an appliance fire. Corrective Action: Keystone will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your travel trailer to a dealer to replace the propane (LP) regulator.

    On certain vehicles equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly.     Certain travel trailers may have been manufactured with insufficient welding at the rear mounting plate of the detachable coupler A frame. If the mounting plate were to separate from the trailer frame, vehicles handling could be affected, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect welds and repair if necessary.

    On certain fifth wheel and travel trailers, the Atwood 35-series range oven, model number beginning with RV1735, RV2135, RA1735, or RA2135, may develop a small crack within the line delivering gas to the oven cavity burner. A propane leak, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire and/or explosion, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the oven supply tube.
