Issue: On certain RV trailers, the axle could become damaged by contact with the frame. If this happens, there could be a loss of control. Safety Risk: A loss of control could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Keystone will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to replace the axle equalizers. To reduce the safety risk, Keystone recommends that you should limit the towing of your trailer until the recall repairs are completed.

Keystone RV Company7(Keystone) is recalling certain 2024 Keystone Retreat, Residence 40CLDL, Residence 401CLDL, Dutchmen Aspen Trail 421LOFT, and Crossroads Hampton 390PVL trailers. The equalizer may provide inadequate clearance, allowing the axle to contact the frame.
Risk: Contact between the axle and the frame increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the equalizer, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 30, 2024. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-8696-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 24-453.
