Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, International Motors advises not to use the cruise control function until the recall repairs are completed. This could also cause the engine to stall, increasing the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Cummins will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a Cummins authorized service center to disable the fuel heater. The fuel heater will be replaced by installing a plug in its place. Additionally, the fuse supplying electrical power to the fuel heater will be removed and a cover will also be installed over the wire harness connector.
