    Issue: On a small number of motorhomes, the circuit board(s) for the rooftop ventilation fans may not have been manufactured correctly and could overheat. Note: This recall only affects certain motorhomes equipped with MaxxAir rooftop ventilation fans. Safety Risk: A circuit board that overheats could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Grand Design RV will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the ventilation fan circuit board(s).

  • Seats And Restraints#2026215

    Issue: On a small number of motorhomes, the bolts that secure the driver and front passenger seat bases may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the seats could move in a crash. Safety Risk: A seat that moves in a crash could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Action: Grand Design RV will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, tighten the bolts for the driver and front passenger seat bases.

    Issue: On certain motorhomes, the solar panel may not have been installed properly. As a result, the solar panel could loosen and separate from the vehicle while driving. Safety Risk: A solar panel that detaches from the vehicle could create a hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Grand Design RV will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, secure the solar panel to the roof.

    Issue: On small number of motorhomes, the entry steps could extend on their own while driving. Safety Risk: Steps that extend while driving could create a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Grand Design RV will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to reposition the switch for the entry steps. Alternatively, you may contact Grand Design RV to arrange for a mobile service technician to complete the repairs.

  • EQUIPMENT:OTHER:LABELS#26V491000

    Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Lineage motorhomes equipped with the 20-inch wheel and tire package. The tire information label may state the incorrect rear tire pressure. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other than Passenger Cars."

    Risk: Incorrect tire pressure information can result in over inflated tires, increasing the risk of tire failure and a crash.

    Remedy: Dealers will replace the labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 17, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is M910065.

  • EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER#26V446000

    Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Lineage recreational vehicles equipped with certain MaxxAir N-Series Maxxfan rooftop ventilation fans. The printed circuit board may fail during certain operations and overheat.

    Risk: An overheated printed circuit board increases the risk of a fire.

    Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the printed circuit board as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 21, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is M910063.

  • STRUCTURE:CRITICAL FASTENERS#26V276000

    Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Lineage recreational vehicles. The adhesive securing the solar panels to the roof may fail, allowing the solar panel to detach.

    Risk: A detached solar panel can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: Dealers will install mechanical fasteners, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 11, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is M910059. This recall supersedes NHTSA recall 26V042.

  • SEATS:CRITICAL FASTENERS#26V277000

    Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Lineage recreational vehicles. The driver and passenger seat bases may have not been tightened properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, “Seating Systems.”

    Risk: A loose base may allow the seat to move during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

    Remedy: Dealers will inspect and properly tighten the seat bases as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 15, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall M910060.

  • STRUCTURE:BODY:STEP/LADDER#26V174000

    Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Lineage motorhomes. The entry door position switch may not make adequate contact to read that the door is closed, which allows the steps to deploy unexpectedly.

    Risk: Steps extending while in transit increase the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: Dealers will reposition the switch, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 4, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is M910058.

  • EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER:PLUMBING:FREEZE PREVENTION HEATER#26V057000

    Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2026 Solitude recreational vehicles equipped with a ThermaHeat Tank Pad. The water tank heating pad may experience high resistance and fail.

    Risk: A heating pad failure can increase the risk of a fire.

    Remedy: Dealers will inspect the heating pads and replace as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on March 4, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is 910055/M910056.

    Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Lineage motorhomes. The seat base on the driver and front passenger seat may have been improperly tightened, causing the base to become loose. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, “Seating Systems.”

    Risk: A loose seat base increases the risk of injury in the event of a crash.

    Remedy: Dealers will inspect and tighten the seat base, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 4, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is M910057.

    Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Lineage recreational vehicles. The adhesive securing the solar panels to the roof may fail, allowing the solar panel to detach.

    Risk: A detached solar panel can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.

  • EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER#25V473000

    Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Lineage recreational trailers, equipped with Lippert Modularia entrance doors. The door latch mechanism may fail.

    Risk: Door latch failure may prevent occupants from exiting the vehicle in an emergency, increasing the risk of injury.

    Remedy: Dealers will install a new retainer clip and install a secondary retainer to the tension rod, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 12, 2025. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is M910051.
