Corrective Actions: Forest River will mail a new compliance label to each owner. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Forest River advises you not to plug in the RV trailer until the recall repairs have been completed. As a result, this could prevent occupants from using the rear door and/or delay occupants from escaping the trailer in an emergency. Safety Risk: An exit door that can't be opened could slow your exit from the trailer in an emergency. This could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Forest River advises you not to lock the external latch on the rear patio door until the recall repairs have been completed. Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to remove the exterior latch on the rear patio door.

If a user attempts to tighten the bolt for the stove's valve in order to stop the smell, they could over-tighten the bolt and cause damage to a seal. This can result in a constant gas leak. Safety Risk: A propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion. Corrective Action: Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to replace the defective hardware and perform a leak test. If you smell propane gas inside your motorhome, you should evacuate and turn off the gas supply immediately.

Heat from the exhaust outlet could cause the power cord or the power cord hatch to melt. This may create a fire risk. Additionally, if the cord melts to the point where bare wires are exposed, there is an increased risk of electrocution if someone touches an exposed wire. Correction: The power cord hatch will be relocated to the rear wall of the travel trailer. The remedy will include installation of a hook on the rear wall of the trailer to ensure the cord is positioned away from the water heater exhaust outlet.

The correct GVWR is 1,809 kg (3,989 lbs). Incorrect GVWR could result in overloading, potentially causing damage to trailer and affecting vehicle handling. This could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Updated labels will be mailed to owners of affected trailers.
