As a result, this could prevent occupants from using the rear door and/or delay occupants from escaping the trailer in an emergency. Safety Risk: An entry gate that opens while the trailer is being towed could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Forest River advises that, when towing the trailer, you should install a zip tie in the hole of the entry gate latch until the recall repairs have been completed. Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to remove the strut on the entry gate, and to add a warning decal and a tethered pin.

Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to inspect and, as necessary, reattach the receiver for the removable step.

  • Structure#2024489

Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Forest River advises you to unload all cargo and empty holding tanks and water tanks before towing until the recall repairs have been completed.
