Issue: On certain vehicles, the front seat belt(s) may have been damaged during production. As a result, the seat belt(s) may not hold a person in place during a crash. Note: For the Q4 E-Tron model, this recall affects both Sportback and SUV models. Safety Risk: A seat belt that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the front seat belt(s), as necessary.

Issue: On certain vehicles, the on-board charger (OCDC) could fail. As a result, the 12 V battery will not charge and could cause a loss of power to the wheels. Note: This problem will cause warning lights to turn on and warning messages to display before any loss of power. Safety Risk: A loss of power to the wheels may increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the on-board charger (OCDC).

As a result, you may not be aware when the transmission is in neutral. If this happens, and brakes or parking brake aren't used, the vehicle could roll away. Note: For the Q4 e-tron model, this recall affects both SUV and Sportback models. Safety Risk: A vehicle that rolls away could create the risk of an injury or a crash. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, the company recommends that you should use the parking brake and confirm the parking brake indicator light is on when you park. The company will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the brake control unit software.

Issue: Under certain conditions, the plug for the 220 V compact vehicle charging cable could become damaged by the house power outlet. As a result, the cable could overheat while charging. Note: This recall only affects electric and plug-in hybrid electric (PHEV) models. Safety Risk: Wiring that overheats could create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: Audi will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the vehicle charging cable. For unsold vehicles, the dealer will remove the charging cable before they are delivered to consumers.

Issue: On certain vehicles, after shifting into reverse or manually activating the parking function, the rearview camera image may not display. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that does not display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the rearview camera.
