  Issue: Under certain circumstances, a software problem could cause the ''N'' (Neutral) gear position not to display on the instrument cluster. As a result, you may not be aware when the transmission is in neutral. If this happens, and brakes or parking brake aren't used, the vehicle could roll away. Note: For the Q4 e-tron model, this recall affects both SUV and Sportback models. Safety Risk: A vehicle that rolls away could create the risk of an injury or a crash. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, the company recommends that you should use the parking brake and confirm the parking brake indicator light is on when you park. The company will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the brake control unit software.

Note: This recall only affects electric and plug-in hybrid electric (PHEV) models. Safety Risk: Wiring that overheats could create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: Audi will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the vehicle charging cable. For unsold vehicles, the dealer will remove the charging cable before they are delivered to consumers.

  Issue: On certain vehicles, the head curtain airbags could contact the metal part of the front door seals when they inflate in a crash. If this happens, a side curtain airbag could tear. Safety Risk: A head curtain airbag that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Audi will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to secure both front door seals.

  Issue: On certain vehicles, after shifting into reverse or manually activating the parking function, the rearview camera image may not display. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse.   Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Volkswagen) is recalling certain 2021-2023 ID.4, 2022-2023 Audi Q4 e-Tron, and Q4 e-Tron Sportback vehicles. The instrument panel may not properly display the transmission gear lever indicator. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 102, "Transmission Shift Lever Sequence, Starter Interlock, and Transmission Braking Effect."

  Risk: Failure to display the gear position may result in a vehicle rollaway if the parking brake is not engaged, increasing the risk of a crash.

  Remedy: Dealers will update the brake control unit software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 14, 2025. • EXTERIOR LIGHTING:LIGHTING CONTROL MODULE:SOFTWARE#24V361000May 22, 2024

  Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Audi) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Q4 E-TRON and Q4 E-TRON Sportback vehicles. The incorrect headlight control module software may have been installed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

  Risk: Incorrect headlight control module software may cause the parking lights not to operate as intended when the headlights are turned on and the turn signals are activated, which can reduce vehicle visibility and increase the risk of a crash.

  Remedy: Dealers will update the headlight control module with a new data set, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 6, 2024. Owners may contact Audi customer service at 1-800-253-2834. Audi's number for this recall is 941L.

• ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:PROPULSION SYSTEM:CHARGING:CABLE/CORD:ONBOARD#23V842000December 13, 2023

  Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Audi) is recalling certain 2022-2024 RS e-tron GT, e-tron GT, Q4 e-tron Sportback, Q4 e-tron, 2020-2021 Audi A8, 2019-2024 e-tron Quattro, 2020-2024 e-tron Sportback Quattro, Q5, and 2021-2022 A7 vehicles. When using the industrial 220V/240V plug at the 100% charge setting, some home power outlets may be incapable of handling the electrical current required to utilize the compact charging system, causing the outlet or charging cable to overheat.

  Risk: An overheated outlet or charging cable can increase the risk of a fire.

  Remedy: Owners are advised not to use the 220V/240V compact/portable charging cable and only use the 110V home charging cable or public charging stations. Dealers will supply a new 220V/240V compact/portable charging cable with an incorporated temperature sensor, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on March 28, 2024. • AIR BAGS#23V189000March 22, 2023

  Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Audi) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Q4 E-Tron SUV and Q4 E-Tron Sportback vehicles. During deployment, the head curtain air bag could deform the door seal and expose the metal inlay within the seal, which could tear the air bag. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 226, "Ejection Mitigation."

  Risk: In the event of a crash, a torn air bag cannot protect occupants as intended, increasing the risk of injury.

  Remedy: Dealers will install cloth tape in the driver and front passenger B-pillar area, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 11, 2023. Owners may contact Audi's customer service at 1-800-253-2834. Audi's number for this recall is 69FA.

• BACK OVER PREVENTION:DISPLAY FUNCTION#22V823000November 2, 2022

  Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Volkswagen) is recalling certain 2022 Golf R A8, Audi S3, RS3 Sedan, Q4 E-Tron SUV, A3 Sedan, and 2022-2023 Volkswagen Golf GTI, and ID4 vehicles. The rearview camera image may be blank or unresponsive when the vehicle is placed in reverse gear or when the park function is manually activated. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."

  Risk: An inoperative rearview camera display can reduce the driver's rear visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

  Remedy: Dealers will replace the rearview camera, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed to Audi owners February 14, 2023. Volkswagen owners will receive an owner notification letter once remedy parts become available.
