  • Suspension#2012045

    25 units affected

On certain buses, a solenoid controlling the air flow to the air dryer purge system (for the air suspension) could fail in a partially open position. This would allow air to escape, causing the air compressor to run excessively, generating higher than normal output temperatures. This could result in a vehicle fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Authorized service facilities will replace the air dryer solenoid with an updated version.

  • Suspension#2012044

    25 units affected

On certain buses, a Kevlar sleeve may have been installed too close to the air compressor outlet port (for the air suspension) and, as a result, could trap heat that would otherwise dissipate. This could cause the air discharge hose to fail, thus releasing air compressor lubricant inside the engine compartment, which could result in a fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Authorized service facilities will replace the air compressor discharge hose and ensure adequate clearance to the Kevlar sleeve.

  • Electrical#2012043

    25 units affected

On certain buses, the wire harness for the alternator may have been installed incorrectly during vehicle assembly. As a result, the wires could chafe against the air compressor housing which, over time, could cause abrasion damage to the wire loom and the cable insulation, possibly resulting in an electrical short circuit. An electrical short could result in a vehicle fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Authorized service facilities will install a bracket to secure the alternator wire harness.
