Issue: On certain trucks, the gears in the windshield wiper motor could wear. If this happens, the windshield wipers may not work. Safety Risk: Windshield wipers that don't work could reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Volvo Trucks will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to replace the windshield wiper motor.

Issue: On certain trucks, the cabinets in the sleeper cab may not have been installed correctly. As a result, they could detach and fall. Safety Risk: A cabinet that detaches and falls could create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Volvo Trucks will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealer to inspect, and if necessary, install new bolts and washers on the cabinets in the sleeper cab.

U.S. NHTSA recalls
03- VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD WIPER/WASHER:MOTOR#23V511000
Volvo Trucks North America (Volvo Trucks) is recalling certain 2022-2024 VNR, VNL, VHD, and VAH trucks. The windshield wiper motor gears may wear prematurely, causing the motor to fail.
Risk: Inoperative windshield wipers can reduce visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the windshield wiper motor assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 1, 2023. Owners may contact Volvo Trucks customer service at 1-800-528-6586. Volvo Trucks number for this recall is RVXX2309.

Volvo Trucks North America (Volvo Truck) is recalling certain 2022-2024 VNL and VHD vehicles equipped with RollTek driver seats. A missing circuit will prevent the side air bag from deploying during a crash.
Risk: An air bag that does not deploy, increases the risk of an injury.
Remedy: Dealers will connect a jumper harness between the seat and main cab harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 4, 2023. Owners may contact Volvo Trucks' customer service at 1-800-528-6586. Volvo Trucks' number for this recall is RVXX2305.
- SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:SUPPLY:RESERVOIR/TANK#22V896000
Volvo Trucks North America (Volvo Trucks) is recalling certain 2022-2023 VNL vehicles. The air tank bracket fasteners were excessively tightened and may have broken.
Risk: Broken fasteners may allow the air tank to detach from the vehicle, becoming a road hazard and increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the fasteners, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 16, 2022. Owners may contact Volvo Trucks' customer service at 1-800-528-6586. Volvo Trucks' number for this recall is RVXX2205.
