Issue: The compliance label on certain vehicles incorrectly lists that the vehicle is compliant to all U.S. and Canadian standards. Safety Risk: This small error does not affect safety, as all of the vehicles are fully compliant to Canadian standards and regulations. Corrective Actions: This is not a recall. Volvo Trucks has made changes to ensure that all new vehicles have the correct statement of compliance printed on the compliance label.

  • Lights And Instruments#2021565

    32 units affected

Issue: Certain buses were built with headlamps that may not meet the performance requirements of Canadian regulations. As a result, the headlamp beam pattern may be too bright in some areas and not be bright enough in others. Safety Risk: Headlamps that are too bright could cause glare for oncoming drivers. Headlamps that are not bright enough may reduce visibility. Both of these issues could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Volvo Buses will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.
