Transport Canada recalls

  • Engine#2010462

    11 units affected

On certain motorcycles, the engine oil filler plug/dipstick may be of an incorrect length. As a result, the accuracy of the dipstick may be compromised and adequate oil levels may not be maintained. Incorrect oil level may cause the engine to fail and seize. Lost propulsion, in conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the rider's reactions, could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the affected oil filler plug/dipstick.

  • Suspension#2009282

    286 units affected

On certain motorcycle, the rear suspension drag link assembly may fail, allowing the rear suspension to disconnect from the swing arm. Should this occur, the motorcycle will drop down causing contact between the rear tire and the underside of the rear mudguard. This could cause a loss of vehicle control and a crash causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will replace the drag link with an updated version.
