Transport Canada recalls

03
  • Engine#2024150

    256 units affected

Issue: On certain motorcycles, the recall repairs completed by a Triumph dealer during recall SRAN 605 (Transport Canada recall number 2023-006) may not have been effective. As a result, a second repair is required. On certain motorcycles, the radiator fan motor could overheat and stop working. As a result, a warning light may turn on in the instrument cluster. If you ignore the warning light and continue to ride your motorcycle, engine coolant could leak. Safety Risk: A coolant leak could create the risk of a burn injury. Additionally, coolant that contacts the rear tire can reduce traction and cause a loss of control. This can increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Action: Triumph will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to update the engine software.

  • Brakes#2022155

    139 units affected

Issue: On certain motorcycles, the rear brake disc bolts may loosen. If this happens, the bolts could contact the rear swingarm or brake caliper bracket. This can cause reduced braking or stop the rear wheel from rotating. Note: A loose bolt may create a noise from the rear of the motorcycle. Safety Risk: A rear wheel that doesn't rotate freely could increase the risk of a crash. Reduced braking can cause an increased stopping distance and create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Triumph will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the rear brake disc bolts.
