Issue: On certain motorhomes, the service valve (main shutoff) for the propane tank may be defective. As a result, the connector may not seal properly and could leak propane. Safety Risk: A propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion. Corrective Actions: Tiffin will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealership to perform a leak test and inspect the date code on the service valve. It will be replaced, if necessary. Tiffin recommends that you should shut off the service valve (main shutoff) on the propane tank until your motorhome is inspected.

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the nuts on the bus bar in the DC power distribution panel may not be tightened properly. As a result, the bus bar could overheat and melt other parts. Safety Risk: An overheated or melted electrical panel could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Tiffin will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to inspect and tighten the nuts on the DC power distribution panel. On motorhomes with the optional larger 2000 W inverter, the dealer will also remove the bus bar from the DC power distribution panel, and replace it with a cable.

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the seat belts on the sofas may not be properly installed. As a result, the seat belts may not work as designed in a crash. Safety Risk: A seat belt that does not work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Tiffin will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to inspect and repair the seat belts on the sofas, as necessary.

On certain motorhomes equipped with a Cummins ISV5.0 light-duty diesel engine, the belt for the air compressor may slip and reduce air output. This could cause a reduction in braking performance, and if warnings are ignored, could result in the sudden application of the parking brake. This could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Cummins-authorized dealers will replace the existing high mount air compressor configuration with a new low mount air compressor configuration.

On certain motorhomes, the latch on the entry door may not engage properly. This could allow the door to open unexpectedly when the vehicle is in transit, which could increase the risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will adjust the entry door to ensure that the latch engages properly.

On certain motorhomes equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. This could result in a loss of fuel pump function, which could result in the engine stalling and not being able to restarted, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Cummins-authorized dealers will replace the fan support and fan adapter with improved parts.

This could cause an electrical short, potentially resulting in a fire, and cause the lights to fail, decreasing vehicle conspicuity. These issues could increase the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the affected lights and install an inline fuse.

On certain motorhomes, the electrical motor for the awning could become damaged, allowing the awning to unfurl unexpectedly. As a result, the awning could strike another vehicle, a stationary object, or a bystander, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the awning motor.
