Transport Canada recalls
01- Label#2022593
4 units affected
Issue: On certain motorhomes, the occupant and cargo-carrying capacity label doesn't list the correct seating capacity. The label incorrectly states that there are 7 seats if you have the theater seats option, or 8 seats if you have the optional sofa. The label should list that there are 6 seats if you have the theater seats option, or 7 seats if you have the optional sofa. As a result, the number of seat belts in the vehicle does not match the occupant capacity. Safety Risk: Not wearing a seat belt can increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Thor Motor Coach will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealership to install a new occupant and cargo-carrying capacity label.

- EQUIPMENT:OTHER:LABELS#22V784000
Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2023 Magnitude and Omni vehicles. The Occupant and Cargo Carrying Capacity (OCCC) Label states the incorrect number of seat belts, indicating that there are more seat belts available than there actually are. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other Than Passenger Cars."
Risk: The incorrect seat belt information may result in occupants being transported without available seat belts, increasing their risk of injury.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 10, 2022. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000281.
