    Issue: On certain motorhomes, the front overhead cabinets may not be properly attached. As a result, a cabinet could detach and fall onto the driver or passenger. Note: This is an expansion of Transport Canada Recall 2020-644. Safety Risk: A cabinet that detaches and falls could create a risk of injury. If the cabinet falls while driving, it may also create a distraction and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Thor Motor Coach will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to verify that the cabinets are properly mounted. If the cabinets are loose, the dealership will reinstall them properly.

    Issue: On certain motorhomes, the electronic control center does not have proper circuit protection. As a result, its circuit board could be damaged by high voltage. If this happens, the circuit board may overheat. Safety Risk: An overheated circuit board could create the risk of fire. Corrective Actions: Thor Motor Coach will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to add additional over-current protection to the electronic control center.

  • EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER#23V121000

    Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2018-2021 Hurricane and Windsport recreational vehicles. The driver and front passenger overhead cabinets may detach.

    Risk: Overhead cabinets that detach while the vehicle is in motion can fall onto seat occupants, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

    Remedy: Dealers will inspect and reinstall the overhead cabinets, if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 15, 2023. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000290.

  • ELECTRICAL SYSTEM#20V498000

    Thor Motor Coach (Thor) is recalling certain 2019-2021 Hurricane and Windsport motorhomes, models 27B, 29M, 32T, 33X, 34J, 34R and 35M. The electronic control center circuit board may be damaged from voltages over 17 volts causing damage to the circuit board.

    Risk: A damaged circuit board could increase the risk of a fire.

    Remedy: Thor will notify owners, and dealers will add an additional circuit module to the existing component board to provide reverse polarity and over-current protection, free of charge. The recall began October 20, 2020. Owners may contact Thor customer service at 1-877-855-2867. Thor's number for this recall is RC000203.
