If the vehicle were to move while the wheelchair lift is in operation, there would be an increased risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect the wheelchair lift wiring and repair as necessary.

On certain school buses equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. If sufficient arcing occurs the fuse holder may melt, which could cause smoke and/or fire. A vehicle fire could result in property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Carrier will provide a retrofit kit along with installation instructions.

On certain buses, the main body power cables were routed in the area of an unprotected edge on the passenger's side inner-fender. Under certain conditions a power cable may contact the sharp edge. If undetected, continued contact could wear through the power cable's insulation potentially resulting in a short circuit. A short circuited power cable could result in a vehicle fire and injury to vehicle occupants. Correction: Dealers will inspect the cable for chafe damage and, if necessary, install a fender clip.
