    9 units affected

    Issue: On a small number of buses, the wheelchair tie-down retractors may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the retractor(s) may not lock automatically. If this happens, the wheelchair may not be secured correctly and could move in a crash. Safety Risk: A wheelchair that moves in a crash could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: None of the affected buses have been delivered to customers. The company will instruct dealers to inspect and, if necessary, replace the wheelchair retractor(s) before the buses are delivered.

  • Seats And Restraints#2024266

    24 units affected

    Issue: On certain transit buses equipped with certain GO-ES Space Saver Foldaway Seats, the seatback may not lock in place when it is reclined and could move in a crash. As a result, the seatback may not meet the strength requirements of Canadian regulations. Safety Risk: A seatback that moves in a crash could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your bus to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, repair the seat.

  • Brakes#2024213

    Issue: On certain transit buses, the brake lines may not be secured correctly. As a result, the brake lines could become damaged by contact with the frame rail. This could lead to a brake fluid leak and cause reduced braking. Safety Risk: Reduced braking can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your bus to a dealership to secure the brake lines.

  • Electrical#2022019

    63 units affected

    Issue: On certain buses, a defect in the programmable relay power center (PRC) module could cause it to short circuit. Note: This recall only affects PRC modules with a date code of 0919. Safety Risk: A short circuit can create the risk of a fire, personal injury, or a crash. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your bus to a dealer to install a wire jumper harness.
