Issue: On certain snowmobiles equipped with an 850 E-TEC engine, the fuel hose connections could wear and leak fuel. Safety Risk: Leaking fuel in the presence of an ignition source could increase the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: BRP will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their snowmobile to a dealer to replace the direct injector fuel hose retaining plate and the engine control module (ECM) lower fuel hose. BRP advises owners not to drive their snowmobile until it is repaired.
