01- Fuel System#2022016
3,899 units affected
Issue: On certain snowmobiles equipped with a 900 ACE turbo engine, pressure may build-up in the fuel tank under certain riding conditions. If this happens and the snowmobile is tilted or flipped to its right side, fuel could leak from fuel tank vent onto hot engine parts. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: BRP will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your snowmobile to a dealer to re-route and change the exit location of the fuel tank vent. The dealer will also install a protective plate over the outlet of the vent.
