Issue: The propane gas line was installed too close to the tire. Over time, this could lead to damage from road debris and cause a propane gas leak. Safety Risk: A propane gas leak could increase the risk of fire. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealership to have the propane gas line re-routed away from the tire.

  • Other#2013147

    9,526 units affected

On certain fifth wheels, travel trailers and motorhomes, the electrical motor for the awning could become damaged, allowing the awning to unfurl unexpectedly. As a result, the awning could strike another vehicle, a stationary object, or a bystander, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the awning motor.

  • Label#2013125

    81 units affected

On certain travel trailers, the Certification label and the Tire and Loading Information label do not contain correct tire pressure information. The labels incorrectly indicate the tire inflation pressure as 448 kPa (65 psi), but instead should read 345 kPa (50 psi). Improper tire pressure can lead to tire failure which, in turn, can result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Updated labels will be mailed to owners of affected vehicles, along with instructions for proper installation.

  • Label#2012177

    4 units affected

On certain trailers, the Federal Certification label and the Tire and Loading Information label do not contain the correct Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). The labels incorrectly indicate a GVWR of 4,270 kg (9,413 lb) instead of 3,453 kg (7,613 lb). As such, the vehicle could be unwittingly overloaded, which would result in poor vehicle handling characteristics, increasing the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Updated labels will be mailed to owners of affected vehicles, along with instructions for proper installation.
