On certain buses equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. Note: For more information about recalled fire extinguishers, please visit www.kidde.com.

On certain vehicles, the fuel tank cradle bolts could loosen and fail. If this occurs, the fuel cradle and fuel tank could drop to the ground, which could disable the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. This could also potentially result in a fuel leak. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will repair and shim the attachment points, and the hardware will be replaced.
- Fuel System#2016108
551 units affected
On certain vehicles, due to a missing clip a coolant line could rub against a braided fuel hose at the AHI 7th injector. Over time, this could cause the fuel hose to become compromised, which could result in fuel spraying onto hot exhaust components increasing the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealer will inspect the fuel line for abrasion and replace it if necessary. The coolant line will be removed.
