Issue: On certain side-by-sides, the front brake lines may be routed incorrectly. As a result, the brake lines could rub against the front wheels and create a brake fluid leak, which can cause reduced braking. Safety Risk: Reduced braking can cause increased stopping distances and create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Polaris will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your side-by-side to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, repair the front brake lines.Polaris advises not to drive your UTV until the recall repairs are completed.
- Steering#2022381

Issue: On certain side-by-side UTVs, the steering wheel may have been damaged during shipping to the dealership. As a result, the steering wheel spokes could break while driving. If this happens, the steering wheel could separate and cause a loss of steering control. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall 2021-662. Vehicles that had the steering wheel replaced under the previous recall do not require this repair. Safety Risk: A loss of steering could create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Polaris recommends that you should not drive your vehicle until this recall is completed. Polaris will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the steering wheel.

This recall was replaced by Transport Canada Recall No. 2022-381. Issue: On certain side-by-side UTVs, the steering wheel may have been damaged during shipping to the dealership. As a result, the steering wheel spokes could break while driving. If this happens, the steering wheel could separate and cause a loss of steering control. Safety Risk: A loss of steering could create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Polaris recommends that you should not drive your vehicle until this recall is completed. Polaris will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.

On certain side-by-side UTV’s, the exhaust silencer could fatigue and crack. As a result, the heat shield may not manage the exhaust gas heat and nearby components could melt and/or catch fire, increasing the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the rear box heat shield with an upgraded stainless steel shield.

Certain side-by-side UTVs may have been assembled with a voltage regulator that does not meet the manufacturer's standards. This could result in the voltage regulator overheating, which could increase the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the regulator with a revised one.
- Fuel System#2015420

On certain side-by-side UTV’s, the fuel tank vent line could be kinked. A kinked fuel tank vent line can cause the fuel tank to build pressure and expand. This expansion may cause the fuel tank to come into contact with the spinning prop shaft, which could lead to a fuel leak. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source could result in a fire causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect the fuel tank vent line and if a kinked fuel tank vent line is found, they will inspect the fuel tank to ensure that no damage is present, and will repair as necessary. Note: This recall is superseded by recall 2016-167.
