  Issue: On certain electric trucks, the contactors for the high-voltage power system could open. If this happens, there could be a sudden loss of power to the wheels. Safety Risk: A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: PACCAR will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to update the vehicle software and replace a wiring harness.

  Issue: On certain trucks, the wiring in the right-hand shift stalk may not be properly connected. As a result, you may not be able to shift the transmission back into gear after coming to a stop. Corrective Actions: PACCAR will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the right-hand shift stalk assembly.

  Issue: On certain trucks, the steering gear may not have been assembled correctly. As a result, the steering gear could break and cause a loss of steering. Safety Risk: A loss of steering control could create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: PACCAR will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealership to inspect the serial number on the steering gear and, if necessary, replace it.

  Issue: On certain trucks that have the air tank mounted behind the fuel tank, the U-bolts that attach the air tank to the side of the frame may be too long. As a result, a bolt could damage the fuel tank and create a fuel leak. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: PACCAR will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to inspect the clearance of the U-bolts that attach the air tank to the side of the frame. If the bolts are too long, the dealer will cut off the excess length. If the fuel tank has damage from contacting a bolt, it will be replaced.

  PACCAR Incorporated (PACCAR) is recalling certain 2024-2026 Kenworth T480, T680, T880, W990, Peterbilt 520, 536, 537, 548, 567, 579, 589, 2025 Kenworth T180, Peterbilt 535, 2025-2026 Kenworth T280, T380 and L770 vehicles. The tail brake light, upper and lower beam headlights, reverse light, and turn signal may not illuminate as intended. In addition, the lift axles, if lowered, may revert to a raised position, or oscillate up and down when the signal warning lights are activated. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices and Associated Equipment."

  Risk: Delayed and unsteady headlights can result in insufficient illumination of the road, decreasing the driver's visibility and increasing the risk of a crash. In addition, an unexpected position change of the lift axles may increase the risk of injury.

  PACCAR Incorporated (PACCAR) is recalling certain 2022-2025 Peterbilt 520, 579, and 2021-2025 Kenworth T680 trucks. The high voltage (HV) contactors may open, causing a sudden loss of high voltage and a loss of drive power.

  Risk: A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.

  Remedy: Dealers will update the software and replace the electrical harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 13, 2025. • SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:ANTILOCK/TRACTION CONTROL/ELECTRONIC LIMITED SLIP:CONTROL UNIT/MODULE#24V915000December 10, 2024

  PACCAR Incorporated (PACCAR) is recalling certain 2021-2025 Peterbilt and Kenworth vehicles, equipped with Bendix EC80 Advanced Electronic Control Units (ECU). Please see the recall report for a complete list of models. Electrical noise and low signal to the power line carrier may cause the ECU to incorrectly process commands or stop functioning.

  Risk: Safety systems that depend on the ECU (Automatic Traction Control, ABS, Electronic Stability Control, Active Cruise Control, and Collison Mitigation System) may not function properly or at all, increasing the risk of a crash.

  PACCAR Incorporated (PACCAR) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Peterbilt 365, 367, 389, 535, 536, 537, 548, 567, 579, and 2021-2025 Kenworth T180, T280, T380, T480, T680, T880 and W990 trucks. The right-hand gear shifter stalk connectors may have been improperly crimped, resulting in a loss of communication.

  Risk: A loss of communication between the gear shifter and the transmission may result in the vehicle becoming disabled after coming to a stop, increasing the risk of a crash.

  Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the gear shifter assembly as necessary, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed December 15, 2025, then phased after that. The steering gear assemblies may have been assembled incorrectly with fewer recirculating balls than are required, which may result in a loss of steering control.

  Risk: A loss of steering control increases the risk of a crash.

  Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the steering gears as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 20, 2024.   PACCAR Incorporated (PACCAR) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Peterbilt 579 and 567 trucks. The U-bolts that attach the air tank to the chassis may contact the fuel tank and over time, wear a hole in the tank.

  Risk: A punctured fuel tank can leak fuel, increasing the risk of a fire.

• PARKING BRAKE#23V185000March 20, 2023

  PACCAR Incorporated (PACCAR) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Peterbilt 579 trucks. The Intellipark Tractor Park Valve Module (PVM) may intermittently become stuck in the un-parked position and fail to move into the park position when the park switch is activated.

  Risk: A PVM that fails to move into park can cause a vehicle rollaway, increasing the risk of a crash.
