It will be replaced, if necessary. Newmar recommends that you should shut off the service valve (main shutoff) on the propane tank until your motorhome is inspected.

Safety Risk: Brake lights or turn signals that do not work could cause a following driver not to recognize that a vehicle ahead is braking or intends to turn. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Newmar will notify owners by mail and instruct you to contact a Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) authorized service facility to schedule a repair. The service facility will install a new wiring harness bypass.

If a user attempts to tighten the bolt for the stove's valve in order to stop the smell, they could over-tighten the bolt and cause damage to a seal. This can result in a constant gas leak. Safety Risk: A propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion. Corrective Action: Newmar will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to replace the defective hardware and perform a leak test. If you smell propane gas inside your motorhome, you should evacuate and turn off the gas supply immediately.

Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. Correction: Dealers will install a step retainer bracket to reinforce the operating mechanism, and all bolts of the mechanism will also be replaced.

  On certain vehicles, the connector for the brake and cruise control signal diode jumper assembly may come loose, resulting in a possible intermittent or continuously open circuit. Two circuits are potentially affected. One circuit disengages the cruise control with brake pedal application, and the other circuit illuminates the brake lights with brake application. Failure of the cruise control to disengage, or of the brake lights to illuminate when the brake pedal is depressed, could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will verify that the locking tabs on the diode jumper assembly connector are fully engaged and locked into place.
