On certain vehicles, the steering column slip shaft may have inadequate spline engagement. This could lead to wear and potentially result in the steering shaft becoming disconnected or slipping, causing a loss of steering control and increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the affected slip shafts with those that will have the minimum specified engagement.

On certain motorhomes, the refrigerator heated water line circuit breaker may have the wrong size amperage rating and the 12 volt thermostat and 12 volt heated water line could also be wired incorrectly, causing it to have the incorrect wiring or no power. The incorrect circuit breaker amperage rating could increase the risk of a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will check circuit breaker amperage and correct any wiring issues for thermostat and/or heated water line.

On certain motorhomes, the rear jack mounting bracket may have been attached too close to the rear suspension air bag. This could damage the suspension air bag over time, potentially resulting in an air leak and suspension collapse. This could affect vehicle handling, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will reposition the bracket.

On certain motorhomes built on a Spartan Chassis, steering link fastener nuts may have been insufficiently tightened at time of assembly. If these nuts were to loosen completely, the steering linkage could separate without warning, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and tighten the nuts if necessary.

On certain vehicles equipped with a four-in-one air gauge, the air brake system pressure gauge may display an inaccurate pressure reading. This could cause the service brake air pressure to be lower than anticipated, causing a reduction in braking force and an unexpected application of emergency spring brakes, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the air gauge.

This could create a shock hazard as well as a risk of fire, which could result in property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will re-program the V-Bus lighting and control network.

Certain motorhomes may contain a defective crimp connection in the auxiliary battery cable assembly. A defective connection may result in an inadequate electrical connection or disengagement of the cable, which could lead to electrical arcing, overheating, and generate sufficient heat for ignition of surrounding materials. Ignition of surrounding materials could result in property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the auxiliary battery cable assemblies.
