On certain motorhomes equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. If the bolts were to break, it could cause the lift to move unintentionally, increasing the risk of injury to the lift operator. Correction: Dealers will replace the grade 2 bolts with grade 5 bolts.

On certain motorhomes equipped with Lippert Components Inc. electric entry steps, an internal bolt on the steps that attaches the fan gear assembly to the steps could fracture. This results in the fan gear disengaging from the steps, which could cause the steps to stop in an unexpected position and appear to be loose or unstable. If the steps become unstable, it could cause a person to fall, resulting in injury. Correction: Dealers will install a step retainer bracket to reinforce the operating mechanism, and all bolts of the mechanism will also be replaced.

Certain motorhomes may have been manufactured with a refrigerator equipped with a travel latch that could inadvertently activated without the users knowledge. If the latch accidently locked the door shut, there would be no means to open it from the inside which could potentially cause entrapment and/or injury to an individual. Correction: Dealers will install a new door latch that cannot be inadvertently locked and can only be activated from the exterior of the refrigerator after the door is closed.

If a fire started inside the exterior fuel dispensing compartment, the plastic wrap from the interior flooring could burn, increasing the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a sheet of metal to the top of the exterior fuel compartment to protect the interior flooring plastic wrap.

On certain vehicles equipped with Frigidaire KG series microwaves, a defect in the microwave oven keypad could cause the oven to activate without pressing any keys. This could result in excessive heat, smoke or possibly a fire. Correction: Dealers will replace affected keypads. In the interim, consumers should unplug their microwave ovens, if possible. If the consumer is unable to unplug the microwave, they should leave the door ajar until the microwave is replaced.

The rear tail lamps do not contain integral reflectors, nor were additional reflectors provided. Correction: Dealers will install rear reflectors.
