  Issue: On certain school buses, the anchor screw caps for the wheelchair restraint system may not have been installed properly. As a result, the tie-downs may not lock correctly and could detach in a crash. Note: This recall only affects certain school buses equipped with a Q'Straint Slide N' Click wheelchair restraint system. Safety Risk: Tie-downs that detach in a crash could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Micro Bird will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to inspect and, if necessary, secure the anchor screw caps for the wheelchair restraint system. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the repairs performed at a Micro Bird dealership.

Ecotuned Technologies will provide parts and instructions for how to correct this defect. Until the recall repairs are completed, Micro Bird advises to charge your bus using outside charging equipment only and to keep a safe distance between vehicles and buildings during charging.

As a result, power steering fluid could leak and cause a loss of power steering and power brake assist. Safety Risk: A loss of power brakes can cause a sudden increase in brake pedal force and lead to an increase in stopping distance. A loss of power steering assist can cause a sudden increase in steering effort, especially at low speeds. Both could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Micro Bird will notify owners by mail and advise you to contact a Micro Bird dealer for an inspection of the connection between the power steering pressure line and the Hydroboost unit. The power steering line will be replaced if the connection is not secure.

As a result, the door panels may get stuck when the emergency release handle is used, or may not open when force is applied to the door. Additionally, the exterior emergency release handle may not allow the service door to be opened from outside of the bus. Safety Risk: A door that cannot be opened could delay exiting the bus in an emergency. This could also delay emergency response. Both of these issues could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Micro Bird will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your bus to a dealer to adjust the service door. Alternatively, Micro Bird will provide owners instructions on how to correctly adjust the service door.

  Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2003-2026 MB II, 2006-2026 G5, and 2015-2026 T-Series school buses. An installation error may prevent the wheelchair tie-downs from locking, leaving the wheelchair improperly secured.

  Risk: An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit or a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

  Remedy: Dealers will inspect and secure the anchor screw cap as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 28, 2026. Owners can contact Micro Bird Customer Service at 819-477-2012. Micro Bird's number for this recall is 26-120-AUS.

  Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2022-2025 MB II, T-Series, and 2021-2026 G5 school buses. The power cable providing electricity to the air conditioning control board may have a loose connection to the power stud on the board.

  Risk: A loose power cable connection may cause the control board to overheat and melt, increasing the risk of a fire.

  Remedy: Dealers will secure the power cable and power stud as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 2, 2026. Owners can contact Micro Bird Customer Service at 819-477-2012. Micro Bird's number for this recall is 25-118-SUC.

• VISIBILITY:DEFROSTER/DEFOGGER/HVAC SYSTEM:WINDSHIELD:ELECTRICAL HEATING ELEMENT#24V242000March 28, 2024

  Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2019 G5 school buses. A LIN gateway module may fail causing the defrosting system to be inoperative. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 103, "Windshield Defrosting and Defogging Systems."

  Risk: An inoperative windshield defrosting system may decrease the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

  Remedy: Dealer will replace the LIN gateway module, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 17, 2024. Owners may contact Micro Bird customer service at 1-819-477-2012. Micro Bird's number for this recall is 24-105-CUS.
