    Issue: On certain vehicles, winter tires with the wrong load rating may have been installed. As a result, the tires may be overloaded. This could cause poor handling or a tire failure. Safety Risk: Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the winter tires.

    Issue: On certain vehicles, there could be a problem with the connection of the infotainment system. As a result, the rearview camera image may not display when the transmission is shifted into reverse. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to secure the connection of the infotainment system.

    Issue: On certain vehicles, the fuel delivery module could fail. If this happens, the engine may run rough or may not start. This could also result in a sudden loss of engine power while driving. Note: This is an expansion of Transport Canada recall 2023-353. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the fuel delivery module.

    Issue: On certain vehicles, the fuel delivery module could fail. If this happens, the engine may run rough or may not start. This could also result in a sudden loss of engine power while driving. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the fuel delivery module.

U.S. NHTSA recalls

  • AIR BAGS: AIR BAG/RESTRAINT CONTROL MODULE#26V070000

    Daimler Vans USA, LLC (DVUSA) is recalling certain 2020 and 2022-2023 Mercedes-Benz Metris right-hand-drive vehicles. Water may accumulate on the air bag control unit, which can cause the air bags not to deploy as intended.

    Risk: An air bag that does not deploy as intended increases the risk of injury in a crash.

    Remedy: Dealers will install a cover on the air bag control unit, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning April 10, 2026. Owners may contact DVUSA customer service at 1-877-762-8267. DVUSA's number for this recall is VS2KORSRS. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will become searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning February 13, 2026.

  • EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:INFOTAINMENT:VIDEO (TOUCH)SCREEN/MONITOR/UNIT#25V463000

    Daimler Vans USA, LLC (DVUSA) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Mercedes-Benz Metris vehicles. The electrical connections for the infotainment system may not be properly secured, which can cause the rearview camera image not to display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."

    Risk: A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: Dealers will inspect and repair the infotainment system connection, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 11, 2025. Owners may contact DVUSA customer service at 1-877-762-8267. DVUSA's number for this recall is VS2GARPIN.

  • FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:FUEL PUMP#23V881000

    Daimler Vans USA, LLC (DVUSA) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Mercedes-Benz Metris vehicles. The fuel pump may shutdown, causing a loss of drive power.

    Risk: A loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: Dealers will replace the fuel pump, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed February 5, 2024. Owner notification letters were mailed November 1, 2024. Owners may contact DVUSA customer service at 1-877-762-8267. DVUSA's number for this recall is VS2KRAPUM2. This recall is an expansion of NHTSA recall number 23V-444.

  • FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:FUEL PUMP#23V444000

    Daimler Vans USA, LLC (DVUSA) is recalling certain 2021 Freightliner Sprinter and 2021-2023 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Metris vehicles. The fuel pump may shutdown, which can result in a loss of drive power.

    Risk: A loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash.

    Remedy: Dealers will replace the fuel pump, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 1, 2023. Owners may contact DVUSA customer service at 1-877-762-8267. DVUSA's number for this recall is 4790205.

  • FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS#22V134000

    Daimler Vans USA, LLC (DVUSA) is recalling certain 2017-2022 Mercedes-Benz Metris vehicles. The connection of the upper and lower fuel hoses to the engine may be insecure, which can result in a fuel leak.

    Risk: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

    Remedy: Dealers will inspect and repair the fuel hose connections, and replace the clamps and fuel hose, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 5, 2022. Owners may contact DVUSA customer service at 1-877-762-8267. DVUSA's number for this recall is VS2KRAUCH.
