As a result, the rear brake modulator(s) could short circuit and cause a loss of antilock braking system (ABS) and electronic stability control (ESC). Safety Risk: A loss of ABS and ESC could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mack will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the rear brake modulator(s). The dealer will also install a cover on the connector(s).

Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Mack advises you to test the trailer turn signals before driving, until the recall repairs are completed.
