Safety Risk: A rear impact guard that doesn't work properly could cause a vehicle to underride the trailer and increase the risk of injuries. Corrective Actions: Lode King will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to inspect and, if necessary, weld the rear impact guard to the frame. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the inspection and repairs performed at a Lode King dealership.

Corrective Actions: Lode King will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to inspect and replace the bolts that attach the rear impact guard, as necessary.

On certain semi-trailers equipped with a toolbox, the mounting system which attached the toolbox to the trailer may develop fatigue cracks and fail. A toolbox separating from the trailer could strike another vehicle, a stationary object, or a bystander, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the toolbox mounting brackets.
