    139 units affected

    On certain side-by-side UTV's, the nut for the left-front upper knuckle joint may not be properly tightened. If the nut loosens or detaches, there could be a loss of steering control. Safety Risk: A loss of steering control could create a risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Kawasaki will notify owners by mail and advise them to stop using their vehicle until the recall repair has been performed. Kawasaki will instruct owners to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect and re-tighten the left-front upper knuckle joint nut as required.

    On certain vehicles, under certain circumstances, a foreign object such as, but not limited to, a stick could be deflected by a front tire into the floorboard which could increase the risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will install floorboard guards and replace damaged floorboards if the vehicle exhibits no sign of misuse, abuse or accidents. Note: This recall supersedes recall 2014-468.

  • Structure#2014468

    955 units affected

    On certain side-by-side off-road vehicles, a foreign object could be deflected by a front tire into the left or right floor board. This could result in the object breaking through the floor board and protruding into the foot rest area of the vehicle, which could increase the risk of injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will install floor board guards, and replace damaged unserviceable floor boards if the vehicle exhibits no signs of misuse, abuse or accident(s). Note: This recall is superseded by recall 2015580.

  • Brakes#2012250

    521 units affected

    On some side-by-side ATVs, the pinion shaft bearings in the steering gear could become damaged. Also, the front calipers could become separated from the caliper bracket. These defects could result in a loss of steering and/or a loss of braking performance, possibly resulting in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will repair affected units.
