03- Brakes#2024205
114 units affected
Issue: On certain motorhomes, the power steering pressure line may not be properly connected to the brake booster. As a result, power steering fluid could leak and cause a loss of power steering and power brake assist. Note: Vehicles that were inspected under Transport Canada recall No. 2022-224 also require this repair. Safety Risk: A loss of power brakes can cause a sudden increase in brake pedal force and lead to an increase in stopping distance. A loss of power steering assist can cause a sudden increase in steering effort. Both could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Jayco will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a Ford dealership to replace the power steering pressure line and brake booster line.

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the power steering pressure line may not be properly connected to the brake booster. As a result, power steering fluid could leak and cause a loss of power steering and power brake assist. Safety Risk: A loss of power brakes can cause a potentially sudden increase in brake pedal force and lead to an increase in stopping distance. A loss of power steering assist can cause a sudden increase in steering effort, especially at low speeds. Both could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Jayco will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a Ford dealership to inspect the connection between the power steering pressure line and the Hydroboost unit. The power steering line will be replaced if the connection is not secure.
- Structure#2021009
213 units affected
Issue: On certain motorhomes, the bracket that holds the pump and reservoir for the hydraulic leveling system could fail. If this happens, the pump and reservoir could come in contact with the ground. This could cause a hydraulic fluid leak and cause the parts to separate from the motorhome. Safety Risk: A hydraulic fluid leak or parts falling from the motorhome could create a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Jayco will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to install a newly designed bracket to the hydraulic leveling system pump and reservoir.
