If the vehicle is operated with this condition, the connecting rod could break resulting in a loss of motive power, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the defective connecting rod wrist pin assemblies.

This could allow the wheel assembly to separate from the vehicle, which could cause a loss of control and a crash. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, as necessary, replace the wheel bearings, lock washers, lock rings, and/or hub seals.
