Issue: On certain RV trailers, the fabric for the patio awning may not be properly attached. As a result, the awning could detach and fall from the trailer. Safety Risk: An awning that falls from the trailer could create a risk of injury. An awning that falls from a moving vehicle could create road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Heartland will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealership to inspect the fabric roll on the awning. It will be repaired or replaced, as necessary.

Issue: On certain RV trailers, a rubber cover was not installed on the 12-V mini-breaker for the slide-out. As a result, the electrical studs on the breaker are exposed and could contact nearby ducting. This could cause a short circuit or electrical arcing (sparks). Safety Risk: A short circuit or electrical arcing could create the risk of a fire or injury. Corrective Actions: Heartland will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealership to inspect, and if necessary, install the missing rubber cover on the 12-V mini-breaker.

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the quick disconnect fittings for the propane (LP) gas system may be defective. As a result, the fittings could crack and leak propane. Safety Risk: A propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion. Corrective Actions: Heartland will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to inspect the quick disconnect fittings on the propane system. The quick disconnect fitting(s) will be replaced, if required. The dealer will also perform a leak test.

Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC (Heartland) is recalling certain 2022 Cyclone, Elk Ridge, Fuel, Milestone, North Trail, 2022-2023 Big Horn Traveler, Gravity, Lithium, Mallard, Pioneer, Prowler, Road Warrior, Sundance, Torque, and Trail Runner travel trailers. The electric retractable awning has a welded seam on the fabric that may separate, potentially allowing the awning to drop beyond normal operation.
Risk: An awning that drops or extends beyond normal operation can increase the risk of injury.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and repair, or replace the awning, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed by September 8, 2022. Owners may contact Heartland customer service at 1-877-262-8032.

Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC (Heartland) is recalling certain 2022 Cyclone, Gravity, Sundance, Big Country, Big Horn, Big Horn Traveler, Elkridge, Fuel, North Trail, Landmark, Lithium, Milestone, Torque, Trail Runner, Pioneer, Prowler, and Road Warrior travel trailers. The quick disconnect fittings in the LP gas system may be cracked, causing a gas leak.
Risk: A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the quick disconnect fittings, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 29, 2022. Owners may contact Heartland customer service at 1-877-262-8032. Heartland's number for this recall is 99.01.67.
- ELECTRICAL SYSTEM#22V305000
Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC (Heartland) is recalling certain 2022 Sundance trailers. The 12-volt mini breaker cover for the slide-out was not installed during production, leading to exposed studs that may cause electrical arcing.
Risk: Electrical arcing between the exposed studs and nearby aluminum ducting can increase the risk of fire and injury.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect the 12-volt mini breaker for the slide-out, and install a cover if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 21, 2022. Owners may contact Heartland customer service at 1-877-262-8032.

Heartland Recreation Vehicles, LLC (Heartland) is recalling certain 2022 Sundance travel trailers. The Federal and Certification labels may indicate incorrect tire information. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 120, "Wheel and Rims-Other Than Passenger Cars."
Risk: Incorrect tire information can allow for incorrect replacement tires, which can affect towing, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Heartland will mail replacement certification labels to owners, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 9, 2022. Owners may contact Heartland customer service at 1-877-262-8032. Heartland's number for this recall is RC000156.
