Issue: On certain RV trailers, a power wire behind the refrigerator may be secured incorrectly. Over time, the wire could move and contact the refrigerator cooling unit. This could damage the wire and cause electrical arcing. Safety Risk: Electrical arcing could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Grand Design RV will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to inspect the 110-V wire in the refrigerator cavity. The wire will be replaced or secured, as necessary.

  • Label#2015158

    2 units affected

On certain travel trailers, the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) has an incorrect character in the 9th position. Note: This does not pose a safety risk. Correction: Owners will be sent a letter than can be presented to insurers or future potential buyers explaining the discrepancy.
