This could cause poor handling and lead to a loss of control. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall nos. 2023-395 and 2024-164. RV trailers that were repaired under those recalls also require this repair. Safety Risk: A loss of control could create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Grand Design RV will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.
- Structure#2025232

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the receiver for the removable step on the side of the trailer may not have been attached properly. As a result, the receiver could detach from the bracket and cause a person to fall. Safety risk: A step that detaches could create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Grand Design advises that you should check that the receiver for the step bracket is properly secured until the recall repairs have been completed. Grand Design will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to inspect and, as necessary, reattach the receiver for the removable step.
