Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the fabric roll on the awning. It will be repaired or replaced, as necessary.

Safety Risk: A propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your RV trailer or motorhome to a dealership to replace the quick disconnect fittings on the propane system and perform a leak test.

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the hitch coupler may not be fully welded. As a result, the hitch coupler could fail while driving. If this happens, the trailer could separate from the tow vehicle. Safety Risk: A trailer that separates from the tow vehicle can create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to inspect, and if necessary, replace the coupler.

Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your travel trailer to a dealer to install the missing refrigerator vent.

A wheel separating from the vehicle could cause a loss of control and a crash. Correction: Dealers will repair or replace the axle hubs and bearings as necessary.

In the unlikely event that the trailer separates from the tow vehicle, the trailer brakes may not apply, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a new wiring harness which supplies constant power to the break-away safety switch.

If this occurs, the LP lines could be damaged by the shackle which could cause a propane leak. A propane leak in the presence of an ignition source could increase the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install longer LP lines and reroute them away from the axle shackle area.

Correction: Dealers will inspect, and if necessary, replace the defective hubs.

On certain travel trailers, the certification and tire and loading information labels do not contain correct tire load range and inflation pressure information. The labels incorrectly indicate a tire size of ST225/75R15 with load range C and 345 kPa (50 PSI) inflation pressure while the correct tire load range is D with 448 kPa (65 PSI). As a result, the vehicle may inadvertently be fitted with incorrect replacement tires. Overloaded tires may lead to poor vehicle handling characteristics, which could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Updated labels will be mailed to owners of affected vehicles, along with instructions for proper installation.

Certain travel trailers built with 5 lug axles may have been equipped with certification labels bearing incorrect information. The labels may indicate a Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) of 1196 KG (4400 pounds) instead of 1950.5 KG (4300 pounds), and tire size and pressure as ST225/75R15/D and 448 KPA (65 PSI), instead of ST225/75R15/C and 345 KPA (50 PSI). This could lead to overloading and/or tire failure which, in turn, could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Updated labels will be mailed to owners of affected vehicles, along with installation instructions.
