Issue: On a small number of RV trailers, the trailer hitch coupler could fail. Note: This recall only affects RV trailers equipped with a Pacific Rim 6350 kg (14,000 lb.) coupler. Safety Risk: A hitch coupler that fails could cause the trailer to detach from the tow vehicle and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the trailer hitch coupler.

  • Electrical#2024316

    7,616 units affected

Issue: On certain RV trailers, a wire in the 7-pin trailer connector may have been wired to the wrong side of the breaker. As a result, the wire may not have proper circuit protection and could short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit can create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to rewire the affected wire to the breaker.

  • Lights And Instruments#2024307

    20 units affected

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the side marker lamps may not have been installed during production. As a result, the trailers don't meet the requirements of Canadian regulations. Safety Risk: A trailer without proper side marker lamps may be less visible to others. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Action: Forest River will notify the owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to install the side marker lamps.
