Issue: On certain RV trailers, a wire in the 7-pin trailer connector may have been wired to the wrong side of the breaker. As a result, the wire may not have proper circuit protection and could short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit can create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to rewire the affected wire to the breaker.

Issue: On certain travel trailers or motorhomes equipped with frameless windows, the glass may not be properly attached to the metal hinges. As a result, the glass could separate from the hinge and fall from the trailer. Safety Risk: A window that detaches from the trailer could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Forest river will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your travel trailer or motorhome to a dealer to inspect the adhesive bonding on the window glass. Dealers will replace the glass, if necessary.

Issue: On certain travel trailers, the stove inside the trailer may have been installed too close to the decorative window trim. Safety Risk: When the stove is operated, the decorative window trim could catch fire. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to replace the fabric window valance with a metal or aluminum (non-combustible) trim.

U.S. NHTSA recalls
03- EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER:120/240 VAC ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:CHARGER LOW VOLTAGE BATTERY#24V395000
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2004-2024 Cedar Creek and 2006-2024 Puma fifth wheels trailers. The overcurrent protection from the trailer battery may have been incorrectly routed, allowing the wires to be pulled out of the junction box.
Risk: A loose wire can cause a short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will reroute the wires to the protected side of the mini-beaker, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 10, 2024. Owners may contact Puma customer service at 1-574-642-0588 or Cedar Creek customer service at 260-593-4000. Forest River's number for this recall is 51-1786.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2015-2017 Coachmen Cross Country, 2015 Coachmen Encore, 2016-2020 Coachmen Mirada, 2018-2021 Coachmen Sportscoach, 2019-2021 Forest River Berkshire, 2011-2016 Forest River Blue Ridge, 2014-2019 Forest River Cardinal, 2014-2020 Forest River Cedar Creek, 2014-2021 Forest River Georgetown, 2019 Forest River Legacy, and 2017-2018 Forest River Riverstone recreational vehicles equipped with Hehr 6400 Series windows. The adhesive that bonds the vented portion of the window may fail.
Risk: Adhesive failure may cause the vent portion of the window to detach, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect the windows, and replace the vent if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 2, 2021. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-825-8600. Forest River's number for this recall is 51-1380.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2020 Cedar Creek trailers. The residential stove may have been installed too close to the window valance, potentially resulting in a fire.
Risk: A fire can increase the risk of an injury.
Remedy: Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fabric valance with a non-combustible valance and reposition the stove to prevent the start of a fire, free of charge. The recall began March 5, 2020. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-260-593-4000. Forest River's number for this recall is 20-1136.
