  Issue: On certain motorhomes, the exhaust tip may not have been properly attached and could separate. If this happens, exhaust fumes and carbon monoxide could enter the motorhome. Note: This recall only affects certain motorhomes built on Ford chassis. Safety Risk: A buildup of exhaust gas in the motorhome could increase the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. Additionally, an exhaust tip that detaches from the motorhome could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: REV Group will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to install a clamp to secure the exhaust tip.

  Issue: On certain motorhomes, the exterior patio 120 V electrical outlet doesn't have ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) protection. Safety Risk: An electrical outlet that doesn't have ground-fault protection could create a risk of shock or electrocution. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, REV Group advises you to only use the exterior patio outlet when it's powered by invertor power until the recall repairs are completed. REV Group will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to install ground-fault protection to the exterior patio outlet.

  Issue: On certain motorhomes, the front overhead cabinet under the drop-down bed may not be properly attached. As a result, the cabinet could detach and fall on the driver and/or passenger. Note: This recall only affects motorhomes with an optional Happijac drop-down bed. Safety Risk: A cabinet that detaches and falls could create a risk of injury. Additionally, a cabinet that falls while driving could create a distraction and/or affect a driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, REV Group advises you to remove all contents from the front overhead cabinet and to inspect that the cabinet isn't starting to detach until the recall repairs are completed. REV Group will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to reinstall the front overhead cabinet with additional hardware.

Safety Risk: Warnings, tell-tales, and gauges that don't display could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: REV Group will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a Ford dealership to replace the Smart Data Link Connector (SDLC) module and wiring harness, as necessary.

  Issue: On certain motorhomes, the service valve (main shutoff) for the propane tank may be defective. As a result, the connector may not seal properly and could leak propane. Safety Risk: A propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion. Corrective Actions: REV Group will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealership to perform a leak test and inspect the date code on the service valve. It will be replaced, if necessary. REV Group recommends that you should shut off the service valve (main shutoff) on the propane tank until your motorhome is inspected.

As a result, the hoses could be damaged by heat and/or contact with the frame. If this happens, hydraulic fluid could leak. Safety Risk: A hydraulic fluid leak could increase the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: REV Group will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, repair or replace the hoses for the hydraulic leveling jack system.

  Issue: On certain motorhomes, the rear axle was not properly filled with oil. Operating the vehicle like this could result in damage to the rear axle bearings that can cause them to seize. If that happens, the rear axle or driveshaft could fail, causing a loss of power to the wheels. Additionally, a vehicle with a rear axle or driveshaft failure may also move when the transmission is in Park, even if the parking brake is applied. Safety Risk: A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. A parked vehicle that rolls away could also increase the risk of an injury or a crash. Corrective Actions: REV RV will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a Ford dealer to inspect the oil level in the rear axle. The rear axle bearings will be replaced, if necessary.

If a user attempts to tighten the bolt for the stove's valve in order to stop the smell, they could over-tighten the bolt and cause damage to a seal. This can result in a constant gas leak. Safety Risk: A propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion. Corrective Action: The REV Group will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to replace the defective hardware and perform a leak test. If you smell propane gas inside your motorhome, you should evacuate and turn off the gas supply immediately.

Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect, and if necessary, replace the generator exhaust pipe with a redesigned pipe that exits at the rear of the motorhome.

Correction: Dealers will replace defective headlamp lenses with new headlamp lenses, as required.

  On certain motorhomes equipped with Onan 5.5 Kilowatt EFI Generators, the external fuel pump and in-line fuel filter for the generator may be improperly secured to the underside of the motorhome chassis. If the fuel pump, fuel filter, or connected fuel lines were to detach or are jarred loose, a fuel leak may result, which in the presence of an ignition source, could lead to a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the mounting of the generator’s external fuel pump and in-line fuel filter, and if necessary, properly secure the fuel pump's mounting bracket to the chassis frame and secure the fuel filter lines with insulated clamps, as required.

This could cause the mounting nuts to become loose, and could result in the sway bar detaching, which would create a road hazard and could affect vehicle handling, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace the sway bar attachment U-bolts and fasteners and ensure that the nuts are tightened to specification.

  On certain motorhomes, a Propane (“LP”) gas tank regulator designed for vertical use may have been inadvertently installed instead of the specified horizontal-style regulator. The incorrect regulator has a vent located parallel with the regulator’s inlet and outlet. When installed, the vent opening faces horizontally, potentially allowing moisture to accumulate inside the regulator. Under certain temperature conditions this moisture could freeze which may result in improper operation of the regulator. If the regulator fails to operate properly, excessive pressure may build up inside of it, potentially resulting in a propane gas leak, which in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect the propane gas tank regulator, and replace it if necessary.
