Issue: On certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by an FCA dealer during recalls Y73 and 20A (Transport Canada recall nos. 2021-663 and 2023-090) may not be effective. As a result, another repair is required. On certain vehicles, the rear spoiler could hit the body when opening and closing the liftgate. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners in writing. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.

  • Label#2024548

    314,717 units affected

Issue: On certain vehicles, the tire and loading information label does not list that there is no spare tire in both official languages. The label reads as "NONE" when it should read as "NONE / AUCUN". Canadian regulations require the information to be listed on the label in both English and French. Safety Risk: This error does not affect vehicle safety. Corrective Actions: This is not a recall. The company has corrected the tire and loading information label for all new vehicles.

  • Visual System#2024338

Note: For the Grand Cherokee model, this recall affects 2022-2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2021-2023 Grand Cherokee L models. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the radio software.

  • Structure#2023090

  • Engine#2022217

    40 units affected

Issue: On certain vehicles, the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve could stick open. Under certain driving conditions, this could cause the engine to stall and result in a loss of power to the wheels. Note: This recall only affects certain vehicles equipped with a 3.6 L engine. Safety Risk: A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the EGR valve.
