  • Brakes#2024558

    21 units affected

Issue: On certain personal transportation and light-utility vehicles, the rod that connects the brake pedal could become bent when excessive force is applied to the pedal. If this happens, the brakes may not fully apply and could cause reduced braking. Note: This recall only affects certain vehicles equipped with hydraulic brakes. Safety Risk: Reduced braking can cause increased stopping distances and create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Textron will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the hydraulic brake linkage rod.

  • Other#2024429

    7 units affected

Issue: On a small number of electric personal transportation and light utility vehicles, the owner's manual incorrectly references that the vehicles are equipped with an automatic parking brake, when they are equipped with a manual parking brake. This incorrect information could lead a person not to apply the parking brake. If this happens, the vehicle could move when it's parked. Safety Risk: A parked vehicle that moves suddenly could create the risk of an injury or a crash. Corrective Actions: Textron will notify owners by mail and provide you with a new owner's manual.

  • Electrical#2024132

    71 units affected

Issue: On certain electric light utility vehicles, the dump bed latch could contact and damage the top cover of the battery pack case. Note: This recall only affects Hauler Pro and Hauler Pro X Elite models equipped with a triple battery pack. Safety Risk: A damaged battery pack can create a fire risk, even while the vehicle is parked and turned off. Corrective Actions: Textron will notify owners by mail and advise you to bring your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the battery pack. If damage is found, the battery module(s) will be replaced, as necessary. The dealer will also replace a bracket to give the battery pack proper clearance. Textron advises that you should park your vehicle outdoors and away from other vehicles or structures until the recall repairs have been completed.

  • Electrical#2023572

    143 units affected

Issue: On certain electric light utility vehicles, a problem with the lithium battery system could cause a fire, even while parked with the ignition off. Note: For the Hauler model, only the Hauler Pro and Hauler Pro X Elite models are affected by this recall. Safety Risk: The vehicle could catch fire, even while parked and turned off. Corrective Actions: Textron will notify owners by mail and provide you with precautions that may be taken to reduce the safety risks. Textron advises that you to contact your Cushman dealership, representative or Customer Care at 1-888-438-3946 to arrange an inspection of your vehicle(s). The corrective actions for this recall are under development. Until corrective actions are completed on your vehicle(s), Textron recommends that you should park your vehicle outdoors and away from other vehicles or structures when not in use. This applies whether or not the vehicle is charging.

  • Electrical#2023380

    57 units affected

Issue: On certain vehicles, the wiring for the motor and speed sensor may not be secured properly. As a result, the wiring could become damaged over time. Under certain conditions, this could cause a short circuit and the vehicle could move suddenly. Safety Risk: A vehicle that moves suddenly could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Textron will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to reroute the wiring for the motor and speed sensor. The dealer will also inspect the wiring for damage, and repair it as needed. To reduce the safety risk, Textron advises not to use your vehicle until the recall repairs have been completed.

  • Electrical#2022609

    8,146 units affected

Issue: On certain golf cars, light utility and personal transportation vehicles equipped with a USB charge port, water can enter the USB charge port module. If this happens, the USB charge port module could overheat. Safety Risk: An electric module that overheats could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Textron will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to install a protective sleeve over the USB charge port module. To reduce the safety risk until the recall repairs have been completed, Textron recommends the following: For RXV electric models: Remove the 2 A USB fuse to disable the power to the USB module. For all gas-powered models: When parking or storing the vehicle indoors, the key must be turned off and removed. For Hauler, Express and Liberty electric models: The vehicle should be charged outdoors, away from other vehicles or structures. Additionally, when parking or storing the vehicle indoors, the key must be turned off and removed, and the charger must be disconnected.

  • Electrical#2019444

    195 units affected

Issue: On certain low speed vehicles, the starter generator wire may not be properly secured. This could result in contact between the wire and the exhaust. If the exhaust is hot, it could melt the wire and cause a short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Owners should stop using their vehicle until the recall repairs are completed. The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect, and if necessary, re-route the starter generator wire away from the exhaust.
